Lesson Introduction

So far, you should have planned out your entire study and got data collection instrument ready for your action. According to our model, you are now ready to implement the action. In reality, life is complex and things rarely go as planned. Therefore, to provide you with flexibility, you will have 4-weeks time slot to implement your action and collect data. Please be aware that you don’t need to worry about making this study big. You are only expected to learn how to conduct an action research study through this hands-on project. Therefore, if you cannot access a big amount of subjects, don’t worry about it. You can consider this study as a pilot study, a pre-study of your full study, a miniature version of your project. You may limit it by using fewer subjects than you plan to include in the full study, or you may limit it because your scope is smaller in some other way.
